At Home Events FAQs

  • What do you need set up before the TLK team arrives?

    We send out a prep list a head of time but generally we ask to have fridge and freezer space cleared and any items on countertops moved elsewhere for the evening. We will mostly use your cookware and dinnerware unless there’s anything specialty the chef needs.

  • Do you provide wine, beer, cocktails?

    We are not licensed to supply alcohol however we can make suggestions for the type beverages you may want to have on hand for your event to take it to the next level.

  • How long does a typical event last?

    Generally our chef and host come to set up an hour prior to guest arrival time. The dinner prep and eating experience is approximately two hours give or take and then our team will fully clean your kitchen and be on our way.

  • Do prices include a gratuity?

    Our event prices do not include a gratuity. If you had a great experience here are some options for tipping:

    1. Give cash to the chef and host the night of your event.

    2. Email your event coordinator and we can send you a gratuity invoice.

  • What should I wear?

    Whatever makes you feel best, but if you have asked for a participation aspect for your event, please avoid loose sleeves and have hair tied back if possible. TLK will provide aprons to use during cooking
