Gnocchi ll: Ricotta Gnocchi with Chef Lindsay Janzen

Part 2 of our gnocchi journey. This class makes ricotta gnocchi which is a lighter more delicate result than the traditional potato gnocchi. The recipe comes together quicker and with less equipment but requires a gentle touch and gets better with practice.

Cook along with Chef Lindsay as she passes on her expertise in a fun an informative Italian night in!

Part 1 is not a pre-requisite for this class, however you might enjoy learning the differences between the two types and the different sauces

Skills you will learn:

  • mixing, rolling, cooking, soft pillowy ricotta gnocchi

  • homemade italian sausage (uncased)

  • delicious san marzano tomato sauce

Skill Level: Moderate

Time: Approx 2 hours:

  • Cooking alone or with others (sharing the workload).

  • Have small humans around to “help”

  • Feel free to split the class up and make the gnocchi in the afternoon and sauce before dinner. Refer to the recipes for specific times.
