Youth Cooking Camps: Around the World


Take a trip around the world with Adrianna as she teaches our junior chefs techniques and flavours from some well known regions! 

Beginner; Ages 8-12

 

Itinerary:

Monday: France

  • Crepes (savoury and sweet)
  • Quiche (mini)
  • Discuss types of cheese, rolled in dough (like croissants) and other French desserts (macarons, crème brulees) 

Tuesday: Mediterranean

  • Greek Salad
  • Tzatziki
  • Baklava
  • Lokma
  • Pita Bread
  • Souvlaki


Wednesday: Mexican

  • Churros
  • Chicken Tacos
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole 

 
Thursday: Italian

  • Pasta
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Flatbread 
  • Tiramisu Cookies

Friday: Vietnamese/Thai

  • Fresh Rolls
  • Grilled Chicken (pull chicken and roll sticky rice over it)
  • Mango Sticky Rice, seasoned with Thai flavours (mango sticky rice)
  • Baby Bok Choy in Garlic Butter Sauce
  • Banana Coconut Rice Pudding

1. Discover Spices from Around the World
2. Learn How to Make Pasta
3. Practice Different Cooking Techniques Such as Grilling, Sautéing, and Roasting
